Frequently Asked Questions

Do you do in-person or telehealth?

Both. We will accommodate to fit your needs, either in-person in Nashville, TN, or telehealth anywhere in the state of Tennessee.

Do you take insurance?

No, we do not accept any insurance and are considered an “Out of Network” provider. Accepting insurance allows insurance companies to have a say in your treatment and to have access to your confidential information, including diagnoses and treatment plans. They may also put limitations on quantity and frequency. It is our belief that those decisions should be left to us.

We can, however, provide Superbills, and depending on your particular insurance company and plan, you may be able to submit them for a partial refund.

We are happy to provide NPI numbers and the CPT billing codes so that you can contact your insurance ahead of time.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapy is focused on emotional processing, mental health conditions, and deeper work. Coaching is focused on practical strategies, accountability, and skill-building. They are complementary services, and our team uses them together to help you get the best results.

Do you work with kids, teens, or adults?

We primarily work with teens and adults. If you’re looking for services for younger children, reach out—we may be able to refer you to someone who’s a better fit.

What if I have a provider I already like, do I need to switch?

No! The collaborative piece is just a bonus for those looking for multiple providers. We are happy to coordinate with whoever you already are working with, provided you sign a release of information.
